The sweet spot

Just finished reading "The sweet spot" by Peter Hartcher

The start as a convict colony, gold rush, White Australia, mining boom and insights in the economic facts of these times to recent time of Howard - Castello, Kevin Rudd, Julia Gillard and Tony Abbott.

An easy to read economic view on how Australia managed to grow through rough time, how the ironically said "lucky country" became an "official" tag for Australia. It has Australia as a central point, however gives a good comparison with other countries, from China and USA to Sweden and France and HK.

How it navigated through time to become the country with the best living conditions in the world.
