In Europe when you go on holiday you book a room at a hotel/motel and that's it..
However, here in Australia things are a bit different. In some (remote?) places you'll not have too many hotels (or none at all), but you have other options -eg the caravan parks.
The ones we like most are Big4 Caravan Parks. The first we tried was the one on Phillip Island, and it was an amazing experience. Since then we went only to Big4 and we always had a good time, with nice people, lots of kids around and plenty things to do inside the park. (details maybe in another post)
